A Message from our Pastor

What to Expect

Resurrection Worship Center (RWC) is a Growing Ministry in Sioux Falls, SD

Finding a church and making the decision to become connected is not by accident.

We believe at RWC that every person has been drawn by God to fulfill their own unique vision within the Kingdom of God.

Come as you are!

You can expect to be welcomed with open arms and the love of Christ when you walk through the doors of RWC.

Cultural diversity is embraced and welcomed here. We are the church for the city!

WHat we believe

Our Vision

We are the builders of God’s kingdom. We help people live, grow, and flourish.

Psalm 92: 13-14

Hebrews 10:25

  • We believe, salvation is the process by which man is saved from sin through the atoning work of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. You cannot negotiate your salvation. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Eph. 2:8-9 – NJKV

We believe that every person must recognize Jesus Christ as their Savior and LORD (Salvation). “He that cometh unto God must first believe that He is’, Heb. 11:6 - KJV

  • We believe, the water baptism symbolizes the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the identification of the believer with Him in those events The significance of water baptism is clear when you understand the meaning of the original Greek verb “baptidzo.” It means “to immerse.”. Immersion is a picture of burial.

RWC believes in complete submersion. Water baptism is not only significant to the person being baptized, but it also testifies to his or her community what happened when their life was changed by Jesus. Baptism is an outward sign of sins being washed away. (Acts 2:28)

  • We believe, it is the will of God for every Believer to be filled with the Holy Spirit. There’s a difference between living in the midst of the “power source” (which is Jesus) and living with the “power source” inside of you (Holy Spirit).

The Holy Spirit is the power of God operating in you. Jesus was leaving this earth and would not be here to walk with the disciples. They needed another “power source”, the Holy Spirit, the promise of the Father.

There is a baptism in water and a baptism in the Spirit. One represents the new birth and the other represents being filled with the power of God through the Holy Spirit coming in and taking up residence in you.
